Calm isn’t just a luxury—it’s essential. When stress hijacks our nervous system, we enter fight-or-flight mode. To counter this, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which restores balance and sharpens focus.

1 thing you can taste

Or use the Anchor Box technique: recall a calm, confident memory and mentally “open” that box when stress rises.

🎓 Segment 2: Zach’s Story

Zach recently completed his GCSEs and shared how pressure from school staff heightened his anxiety. He described physical symptoms like sweaty palms and restlessness, and how grounding techniques helped him stay present during exams.

Later, Zach joined me for a live Wise Mind Exercise, weighing emotional and rational factors in choosing between two colleges. His final decision—Stratford-upon-Avon—was based on both practical travel time and emotional connection from the open day.
